Pittsboro, NC - The 2016 Chatham County Republican Party Convention will be held Saturday, March 5 at the Horton Middle School in Pittsboro. Registration will begin at 9 AM. Precinct meetings will begin at 9:30 AM and the county convention will start at 10:00 AM.

Preregistration is strongly recommended to ease the credentialing process, and will help move the meeting along faster.All registered Republicans and like-minded un-affiliated voters are welcome to attend but only those registered as Republicans by January 31st are eligible to be voting delegates.
A contribution of $10 will be collected [at the door if you do not pre register] to cover convention expenses and fees.County Convention delegates will vote on the Plan of Organization. Delegates for District & State conventions will also be selected as well as delegates/alternates for the National Convention, so if you can't attend but wish to be a delegate or alternates for one of the later conventions, contact [email protected] to be added to the list if there is room.
This years convention is especially important given 2016 is a Presidential election year. Our state primary’s are on March 15th and we need a good showing as we prepare to put a Republican back in the white house, as well as elect some select Republicans into Congressional and Senate seats.
