Kelly Walker, from Winston Salem, NC, is the daughter of Ed and Linda Sears and has been married to NC Congressman, Mark Walker, for 25 years. They have three children, Ryan, Rachel, and Anna Claire. Kelly is a graduate of Winston Salem State University and is currently a Trauma Nurse with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and it’s award-winning AirCare Program.
With a gifted voice and passion for singing, Kelly has enjoyed participating in local musicals with her daughter Rachel. Additional passions include her faith in God, her family and friends, helping others, an unwaivering support for her husband, and FLYING! Kelly has earned the nickname KellyBird.
You know the old adage "behind every great man, is a great woman"? This is absolutely true of the Congressman and Kelly. She is his best asset and in flying the Flight Care helicopter... a true hero. Kelly will join us to talk about her experiences on the campaign trail and her exeriences as a flight trauma nurse.

The evening will be capped off by our Person of The Year Award. We will recognize and honor Walter Petty, a native of Chatham County and our district 5 commissioner.
We will have a cash bar, and hor'dorves provided by the Fearrington House Inn.
For this event, we are hoping to have a HUGE turnout, the likes of which Chatham County has never seen before ... to honor Walter and all he has done for Chatham County.
